Review:

After driving around Knickerbockers literally 8 times looking for a parking spot, I parked a good two blocks away, and Ryan parked (temporarily) in a handicap spot...just to unload the gear. Now I know what you're thinking, there was a line out the door of people waiting to either A) see us...or B) they were forced outside by the Lincoln smoking ban.

Well the answer is neither. There was a 400+ sold out crowd there to see the early show at Knickerbockers, in which Oranjesta released their new CD. And if you knew the answer to that question then you were obviously following me around Knickerbockers, or at the Oranjesta show.

Regardless, we played for about 80-100 people, and at least 4 of those people said it was a really fun show. So, an overwhelming success, I say. Some of the highlights included our newest James cover, "Laid," which people went all giggleberry for when Ryan hit the high note, my friend Julie finding out that her name is in "Smile" (though Ryan wrote it not knowing of her presence) and then breaking her shoe...then logically duct taping it back together... as well as an enchanting sing-a-long by the crowd at the end of "Indecision." People seem to really enjoy that singing the chorus of that song to people they want to...wait a second...no that's right...
