Review:

Our second show at Shea Riley's was nearly as good as the first, perhaps not musically, but vibe...ily it was close to the same level. Prior to the show starting, we decided not to close the set with Take Me Back because we've closed what seems like the last 18 shows with Take Me Back. So we opted for Don't...so don't judge us. Oh...oh the wit...

As for the show itself, it rocked the undergarments of people's feet...off. Once again, the show went to a whole new level when we played Drive Just To Sleep, and Indecision rocked harder than it has in some time. We did debut one old/new song called See You Again, which Stein may or may not have screwed up (we're pretty certain he screwed up Run Away and Take Me Back though). So if you missed this show, come to another one and you'll probably hear it again because we're getting tired of playing the same songs over and over...and over (but we do it anyways, just for you guys).

One of the highlights of the set was during the break in Run Away, when Stein just left the stage and no one really knew what was going on (was he sick?...was his leg broken?...were the Capitol One barbarians chasing him?) and then he came back on stage, moments later, in dramatic fashion, and laid down the drum fill that takes the song back into it's rockin' flow. Connealy told Stein never to leave the stage again. Good times. It was also fun to play a song after Take Me Back, because that song gets us all movin' around and ready to rock...and then, we got to rock more!

Knickerbockers

Performing with: "Mr. 1986" and "Darling at C"

Setlist:
    Indecision

    April
    Take Me Back

REVIEW:

Our second show at Knickerbockers wasn't that
different from our first show, except that we played
different songs in a different order. Riding the
"good vibration" wave, much like the Beach Boys, we
decided to open the show with Indecision like we did
at Sokol, to, in a sense, grab the fans that were
there and shake them violently. Satisfied went off
without a hitch, so now we know that it's not a
Knickerbockers curse on that song, but more that we
screwed up our own song the last time we played there.
On the brightside, our very own "superfan," Josh, said
that the only people who noticed the screw-ups were
probably the band and him, because he listens to the
album so much. As far as we can tell, we think that's
a good thing...

Tay did end up knocking a mic of one of the drums
during Drive Just To Sleep, and had to improvise the
rest of the drum fills for the song (which is not hard
to do). There was a lack of feedback during Run Away
too, so if you know what were talking about, then you
know what went wrong. And, if you want to start an
office pool on when Ryan will stop dropping his guitar
at the end of shows and just bash it on the stage, let
us know so we can get in on it too. Thanks to all the
fans who come to all our shows, and the ones who saw
us for the first time...tell all the animals you know
(they're smarter than you think...)
