Review:
This was the first acoustic show we've played since September 14th of 2001, and apparently the boys didn't like how I played the last one so they didn't let me play this time. That's right, I was forced to run sound for my own band because "there wasn't enough room for you, man." "Whatever" is all I have to say to that...
Actually, I was all for this acoustic show and it was really fun all the way around. The guys rocked the concert lounge and Scrumpy Jack's and I drank...good times. Acoustic shows are always a good change of pace, much more relaxed and willing to try things (not to be confused with drunk and willing to try things...), which was evident in the attempted DMB request we...I mean they... tried to fulfill. Lots of rarities came out at this show, showing that we can play all sorts of songs but just choose not to...thus proving we are the greatest rock band in the world when we play acoustic shows!

This show was loud. Really loud. So loud that you really could only hear the guitars. But that's cool...we have new shirts and tanktops! And, dispite the rumors, we do like penguins...and long long long drum fills during See You Again. Oh, and if anyone has any grip tape, please lone it to me so I refrain from throwing more than 4 sticks during one show.

Review:
Nothing better than playing outside for all the neighbors...and the people on the nearby bike trail. Alright, maybe there's nothing better than the free beer that we got for playing this house party. The show went well, even though we hadn't played for quite sometime, but needless to say there were some interesting "turns" in the music that we hadn't quite planned on. And we had to play the last two songs minus Ryan because he apparently spilled some water into his amp and it stopped working.
Thanks to Tim for requesting "Sweet Home Alabama," and then us actually figuring most of it out on the fly. Also, big thanks to Rick from Old Chicago for the party and beer.
