Review:

Barn Party II, minus the barn and the donkey, was still an overwhelming success. Probably the best part was not getting rained on like we would have had the show been outside. No wait, I take that back, probably the best part was the fact that people could get their fix of music they knew with the karaoke machine before the show...that way we didn't have people shouting out random songs they wanted us to play and us saying that we're not a cover band. Just so you all know, we're not a cover band. If you're going to request a song, make sure it's one of ours.

But yeah, hooray for beer, the margarita machine "keg" stand that I saw go horribly wrong (someone got dropped on his head), Connealy doing some karaoke after the show (to AC/DC), and the lights going out during my drum solo. See you next year at Barn Party III.

Knickerbockers

performed with: "Marty Casey and the Lovehammers," "We Are The Fury," and "Sonic Diversion"

Setlist:

Don't
Smile
Indecision
Satisfied
Wave Goodbye
Laid
Take Me Back

Review:

We had a blast playing on the front 1/4 of Knickerbockers stage because we had to set up infront of the Lovehammers. I need to thank the drummer from Sonic Diversion for letting me play his kit. And, in unrelated news, we played really well and got a lot of compliments...and the new song (Wave Goodbye) went swimmingly.

Review:

Well, what can we say. This was our first go at Maggie McCall's Battle of the Bands and we couldn't have asked for a better turnout or a better set. We could have maybe asked to win and move on to the second round, but that didn't quite happen either. Ah well, it was a good show, and we sold some merch and hoepfully made some new fans, even though we couldn't really hear eachother's instruments on stage and Connealy had to set up on the wrong side of the stage...which made for quite the cluster of people on stage right. Good times.

Don't

Run Away
Satisfied
Indecision
Sit Down
Smile
Pennsylvania
See You Again
Back Porch
Take Me Back

Review:

We were stoked to get back to the Rock because it's such a great place to play, and we had a great time at this show. It was finally the good show that we'd been looking for since we hit a rough spot a few shows back. Of course, it was pretty much a private show for the people that showed up because there were only a handful of people there to see us...and the other bands, which I can't remember their names, but we did donate our cut of the door to them, so I can say that's justified. Look for some video from the show up on the website in the near future because we had some crazy camera operator's there getting some ridiculous video. All I have to say is "drum cam."
